As a 'one off' day course we held a glass painting workshop where children were given the opportunity to try out various techniques for painting on glass to produce a two dimensional window panel and one or two painted glass containers. This new skill proved a bit challenging at first since it requires an amount of precision.

It was great to watch the children grow in confidence as their attempts became more rewarding. The results were bright and lively and each person was able to take away several lovely pieces of work.

This has been a brilliant summer at the studio, most of the children came back to courses two and three and now want more in the form of a Creative Christmas School!

Melanie and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with a small group of delightful young people who have taken such pride and pleasure in what they have been doing. Well done everyone!
