Hands on Art comprises two emerging artists, Rita and Melanie Thorn, who have combined their artistic skills and knowledge to create an open studio and gallery where they offer classes and workshops to people of all ages and abilities in the hope of promoting and encouraging art in the community.

Classes are small and friendly aimed at bringing out the best in our students. We regularly display work at local craft fairs and exhibit at local galleries. We actively encourage other artists to share our studio as a base for networking. We are keen to share skills, exchange ideas and develop new opportunities and our own practice with other artists.
